It's only when we reach a certain age, often dubbed the 'golden years,' that we truly appreciate the weight of those words. Now, at 65, standing at this milestone, I'm struck by the profound truth of that sentiment.

The camera roll on my iPhone is a modern-day tapestry, woven with images that represent the essence of the 65th year of my journey. It holds thousands of photos, of which I have chosen 65, one for each year I've been blessed to walk this earth. They aren't necessarily the best in terms of composition or clarity, but each one is a key that unlocks a memory, a feeling, a moment in time.

Looking back at these images, I'm transported to moments that now seem surreal. Like fragments of a dream, they piece together the story of my life. From the early days of raising my two incredible daughters to the unwavering support of my wife, these photos are candid snapshots of my reality. The project '65 at 65' was inspired by a previous endeavor, '50 at 50,' which I embarked on with a close friend and talented photographer.
