Chasing the passing summer like a seagull chasing a fishing boat.
No, this comparison is not entirely appropriate. It is exaggerated and a little inappropriate.
But we all will miss it. Especially during the coldest winter months. And we will be warmed only by the memories of it, captured in our photos.
Hi, this is my today's entry to the #monomad challenge with pictures from Lake Kerkini, Greece.
Pictures were taken with Canon EOS 700D
Have a wonderful, meaningful and different day!

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Awesome shots you got right there. You must have gotten quite close to take this. Wonderful Job. Thanks for sharing this beautiful sights with us
Thank you! At times, it felt a bit like the Hitchcock movie. But fortunately, the seagulls were more interested in the fish in the lake than in any humans. 🙂
Thank you very much for the support, @qurator and @ewkaw ❣️
You're very welcome :)
Impressive captures, which remind me of the wonderful images of Richard Bach's classic, 'Juan Salvador Gaviota'. Greetings
Regards,Thank you, @juancar347! 😊 And at the same time, your wonderful post about the Romanesque cloister of St. Peter's co-cathedral reminded me somehow of the Romanesque cloister of Iglesia de San Pedro in Estella-Lizzara with its mysterious twisted columns ❤️
Those are some really great photos. You were able to get right in close to those seagulls; they turned out pretty sharp!
Yes, I was lucky enough to sit at the end of the boat, so that I could watch and photograph these 'monsters' 😄 up close.
Thank you! 😊
Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours. Thank You very much for participating.
Also, and in case you didn't yet, feel free to join our Black And White Community.
