Finding beauty in the urban chaos !

India's street life has always been subject of discussion around the world. When people talk about India, they always get amazed with the bustling life on the Indian street. Life on the Indian street is alwsys happening especially, when it comes to the street market. People often talk about the various clothing, handicrafts item sold on the open street. Today I will bring a new visual dynamics of the street. A busy street bustling with fish vendors.

A street fish market is an open-air marketplace where fishermen or fish vendors directly sell their fresh catch of various fish species to consumers on the street. allowing people to choose their desired fish right there and bargain for the price, creating a bustling and lively atmosphere with a strong fishy smell.

Situated in middle of the busy roads with busy traffic this is a popular destination for Fish lovers. This market operates from morning till evening. The bustling starts around 5AMin the morning and settle down late at night around 8PM. These sellers sits along the roadside and sell fresh fish to the public.

People from far off places visit here to buy fish of their choice. It is a place where you can buy a wide variety of fish, sometimes still alive, directly from the source, usually at very competitive prices. But you need to smart enough to bargain a good deal.

In middle of the bustling markets, an old man caught my attention. Completelly wrapped himself with blanket he was selling Desi eggs (country eggs). These eggs laid by free-range chickens that are fed a natural diet and have unrestricted access to outdoor space. They are often considered to be healthier and more nutritious than regular eggs.

Having the winter season around, these "desi eggs" were in high demand. He had little (11 qty) left with him and looking at me with desperate eyes.

Desi eggs are a good choice for people looking to increase their protein intake in a natural way. They are ideal for breakfast, baking, or cooking. After a good bargain, I ended up buying all. It was a good deal, considering the price is approx same as that of regular eggs.

He quickly packed them in a polythene and handed over to me. He appears to be quite satisfied and happy as wrapped up his day sell and ready to other chores of the day.

These streets markets can be places for buying and selling goods from vendors, socializing with other people. Always buzzing and happening. Vising these places gives us a glimpse of a different world, though part of the society they are always teach us something.

This is my entry to the Monomad challenge in "blackandwhite" community

Peace!!

I definitely prefer the pace of small towns and the country. I like visiting the big city with all the bustle and commotion from time to time, but I don't think I could ever live there.

Hahaha....well it used to be a busy road. What appears to be empty is very bustling during day time...I went there in early hours so avoided the rush.

Sounds like a smart idea!

I agree with your words, in the center of the market in India is very famous for the crowds, the activities of the people there are extraordinary in my opinion, maybe the sellers of various types of daily necessities will not have to wait too long for buyers.

Today you captured some moments in your wonderful city my friend.
