We've had a spell of grey weather, where the sun is a distant memory. Between that and my daily walk being round the town's back streets, there's not a lot of things to photograph.
But this lane, which rises steeply, gave a little interest so I snapped it on my Samsung S24 Ultra in its native setting, then used the onboard program to switch it to black and white.
Nothing fancy, but I do think it gives the picture a little more life than the washed out color of the original.
Some photos pop when done in black and white. The contrast between the buildings and the upward angle of the street pulls the eyes skyward.
