Hello and greeting again everyone in the community. I hope that you have an amazing day. Today I want to share another black and white portraiture that I took last year at our studio.

This photo was a couple concept that being choose by the makeup artist. They asked me if I can create a happy go lucky couple look for their shoot. At first it was a little bit hard because of the male model, Denilson was nervous for the couple shoot. Its hard for him to make a sincere happy face, and it was awkward at first. I had to do some warm up and an ice breaking for them. After few minutes on the warm up shoot I felt that both of them already had some connections.

Diamond had a very expressive face and so energetic, meanwhile Denilson was like very timid and had to match Diamond's energy for the shoot. We had about thirty plus shoot for the closeup and it turns out good.

I use one main light for this, the Godox 600AD was being used as the main light. It was mounted with the beauty dish with the honeycomb and was put on a tripod on their right. A fill light was being used in front of them, the Godox 400AD with an umbrella and a diffuser was being used for the fill light. A simple solid color background was used for this shoot.

As you can see, Diamond can change her expression on every shoot. She had a good range of face expression. But I think it was amazing that Denilson can match her energy for the shoot. I really felt good watching them work together and had their chemistry.
