Hello and greetings again everyone. Its a good day and I hope that all of you are having a great day too.

Today I want to share another black and white series of portraiture that I took last two months. This was a concept portraiture for Halloween theme. My team had chosen "Mae Nak" as the reference for the shoot. This "Mae Nak" was a name of a horror movie from Thailand. Brief story about Mae Nake, It was a story about a woman that died during her pregnancy while her husband was away. When her husband comes home, only the ghost of her wife waited for him and he did not realize that his wife was a ghost. So if you want to know more about Mae Nak, you guys can do some research on the internet and youtube, but I do not recommend to do it during night time.

So we want to recreate the movie poster but with slightly changed on the mood.

The setup was made with a dark background with one lighting setup. I used the beauty dish for the shoot just to focus on the expressions.

The Hardest part was getting the right emotion for both of the character. It took me a while to make them into the character.
We had to play an earie music so that we can get the mood, it was challenge plus we are doing the shoot during late night in the studio. I had a lots of goosebumps during the session but it was worth it.

It was a very exciting experience for this shoot. All of them delivered so good during the photoshoot session. I did not expect to get a good result like this. The teamwork from the make up artist and the designer had a great impact on the final results. A very good job to them.
