FACES AND MONOCHROMES

Being a photographer is something I am most grateful for. It comes with ups and downs, joys and challenges but most importantly, photography helps to bring out the humanity in me.
As a photographer, I am always reminded that I am first a human before being a photographer and for me, that's a thrill.

I captured these beautiful expressions of various people from an event I documented last year in Nigeria. The event was really a frenzy one highlighting food, music, dance and games. I wore a smile that day while moving around and clicking the shutter and as you can see, every image reveals the mood of each person.

Everyone at the event was just joyful and full of life and at the end of the day, I could say that I also enjoyed myself.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
