Treasures found in Tasmanian Museum.
This is my entry for the current Monomad contest organised by @monochromes
What better way to present ancient treasures to you than in black and white?
Treasures such as Dinosaurs, Old Carriages, and stuffed Tasmanian Devils. The Hobart Museum is a haven for historical facts, figures, fine china and so much more. Items that have been donated to this Museum have survived many decades and are now carefully preserved for the benefit of all.
The Tasmanian Museum ( and Art Gallery) was established in 1846 by the Royal Society of Tasmania which just so happens to be the oldest Royal Society outside of England. Prior to Covid-19, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery received over 400,000 visitors annually.
I believe it will be re-opened for visitors shortly so that is good news for future visitors.
