In the CCCP the TV was a main stone of the propaganda together with the newspapers. I remember that on TV were only two available channels, one is main TV channel from Moscow, with the only fake sh*t about how is good here and how is bad there. Same about the newspaper "PRAVDA" - "THE TRUTH" with no one written word of the truth. So i really put "=" between this only available channel and the TIKTOK propaganda, managed with the power of the money as the US and Europeans university were maintained on money from Qatar.
I love the free internet and the freedom of finding the information not the algorithm pouring on you the prepaid fake information exactly like the Soviet TV did. No one was blamed on watching TV there. It was nothing to see for the young people. I mostly read books, was involved in sports and played outside with friends.
