For this occasion I show you this series of photographs of some species of fish, and although you can not appreciate the striking colors of many of these fish, I preferred to make a portfolio in black and white, apart from the photographs of the same species in color, and the truth is that they have interesting aspects. Previously I had never taken pictures of these species in black and white, and now that I did this test, I liked the result obtained.
Para esta ocasión les muestro esta serie de fotografías, de algunas especies de peces, y aunque no se pueda apreciar los colores llamativos de muchos de estos peces, preferí hacer un portafolio en blanco y negro, aparte de las fotografías de los mismas especies a color, y la verdad que tienen aspectos interesantes. Anteriormente nunca le había tomado fotos a estas especies en blanco y negro, y ahora que hice esta prueba, me gustó el resultado obtenido.
Of course, all these fish are in tanks divided according to their species, and it is not as it would suddenly be more interesting, being in their natural habitat, although to make this type of aquatic photographs, specialized equipment is required both for the camera and of course for the person taking the photographs.
Por supuesto, todos estos peces se encuentran en peceras divididas según su especie, y no es como de repente sería más interesante, estando en su hábitat natural, aunque para hacer este tipo de fotografías acuáticas, se require de un equipo especializado tanto para la cámara fotográfica y por supuesto para la misma persona que hace las fotografías.
On the other hand, it should be mentioned that for me to take these pictures, I had to make some settings on the camera, very unusual for what I normally use as settings. All due to the light conditions of the place where the fish were, which is an aquarium, with a very dim lighting, being this way to keep the fish.
Specifically, the camera settings, I had to use a very high ISO of 1600, in order to maintain a more stable speed, and freeze the fish, which logically are kept in constant movement. Besides, in some way I had the obstacle of the glass of the fish tank, which could somehow lose the focus of the fish, but in the end I was able to focus on some of them, where the subtle contrast of black and white can be appreciated.
All photographs are my own and were taken with a Canon T3i camera.
Por otro lado, hay que mencionar que para yo hacer estas fotografías, debí hacer unas configuraciones en la cámara, muy poco usual para lo que normalmente utilizo como configuración. Todo debido a las condiciones de luz del lugar donde se encontraban los peces, que se trata de un acuarium, con una iluminación muy tenue, siendo de esta forma para mantener a los peces.
En específico, la configuración de la cámara, tuve que utilizar un ISO muy alto de 1600, para así mantener una velocidad más estable, y congelar a los peces, que lógicamente se mantienen en un constante movimiento. Aparte, en cierta manera tenía el obstáculo de los vidrios de la pecera, que de alguna forma podía perder el enfoque de los peces, pero al final si pude enfocar algunos de ellos, donde se aprecia el contraste sutil del blanco y negro.
