Logar Valley is stunning in all seasons
The Logar Valley and Rinka Waterfall hold cultural and historical significance for Slovenia. The area has been inhabited for centuries, and traditional alpine farming practices are still observed. There are also several traditional Slovenian farmsteads and guesthouses in the valley, offering visitors a glimpse into the local culture and lifestyle.
To the right of the waterfall is the Eagle's Nest, a small panoramic structure where visitors can rest and refresh themselves with a drink. From the terrace of the refreshment spot, there is an exceptional view of the misting waterfall.
Be aware of some cows here :)
The Logar Valley, including Rinka Waterfall, is part of a protected landscape park. Efforts are made to preserve the natural environment and maintain its pristine condition. Visitors are encouraged to respect the natural habitat and follow guidelines to minimize their impact.
Rinka Waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls in Slovenia, with a height of approximately 105 meters (344 feet). The water cascades down from a steep rock face, creating a picturesque and dramatic sight.
I can't believe this little stream is a part of the grand river Savinja.
In the summer it is quite refreshing standing under the waterfall. However, there should be some caution presented. Not so long ago, one tourist got killed by a falling rock here.
Stay blessed
