On that sunny day, I wanted to visit a famous fortress but failed. At first, unexpected hunger attacked me, and I had to go to a bakery for buns and hot black tea. Then, a cute backstreet diverted me from the destination. I found a cat there and spent half an hour with that pet person. Then, it suddenly got overcast and it began to rain.

All this happened recently, at the beginning of July, it was another generally calm day of my too-long-in-St-Petersburg existence.
All images were taken by me with Nikon D750 and Nikkor 24mm f/2.8D except the last one which was taken with Nikon 50mm f/1.8G on July 9, 2022, in Vasilyevsky Island.
