Good morning, #Monomad friends
There are various types of exploitation of nature that can be done... Although it's not the most natural (I'll excuse the redundancy), it's not the most accessible for people with reduced mobility or poor physical ability or preparation.
As some of you already know, at the end of last year I went to an area far from the big urban centers, which is close to the Central Massif of the Serra da Estrela.
On one of the existing routes, which flanks a large part of the Mondego River, and where the human hand has intervened, building a wooden walkway, and trying to respect nature, it manages in some way to boost physical activity in a more inclusive way, allowing those who, for example, travel in wheelchairs, or who have some physical limitation, to enjoy the proximity to nature.
Undeniably, the meandering of the wide, carefully installed walkways turns out to be very appealing and somewhat photogenic.
The shadows and contrasts that the structure provides are undoubtedly an architectural element that adds some value.
Today I'm sharing with you a small set of black and white photographs of this walkway and its charms.

Existem vários tipos de exploração da Natureza que podem ser feitas... Apesar de não ser a que é mais natural (passo a redundância), acaba por não ser a mais acessível para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida, ou baixa capacidade física ou preparação.
Como alguns de vocês já o sabe, no fim do ano passado, desloquei-me a uma área longe dos grandes centros urbanos, que fica perto do Maciço Central da Serra da Estrela.
Num dos percursos existentes, que ladeiam uma grande parte do percurso do Rio Mondego, e em que a mão humana interveio, contruindo um passadiço, feito de madeira, e tentando respeitar a natureza, consegue de alguma forma dinamizar a actividade física de uma forma mais inclusiva, permitindo a quem, por exemplo, se desloque de cadeira de rodas, ou que tenha alguma limitação física, consiga desfrutar da proximidade com a natureza.
Inegavelmente, o serpentear das passagens largas e cuidadosamente instaladas, acaba por ser muito apelativo e algo fotogénico.
As sombras e contrastes que a estrutura proporcionam, são sem dúvida, um elemento arquitectónico que acrescenta algum valor.
Partilho aqui hoje convosco um pequeno conjunto de fotografias, que editei em preto e branco, de esse passadiço e dos seus encantos.
