Good morning, #Monomad friends
Welcome to my #Monomad Challenge
A sequence of improvised or choreographed body movements with a strong symbolic and aesthetic value. Dance is often accompanied by music, which conveys rhythm and sequence to the steps, movements and body rhythms. Dance is part of our culture as social beings, with a strong ceremonial, liturgical, erotic, mating or courtship component, or even martial. Part of the cultural heritage of a country, region or even a family, it is something that unites us... Anyone who knows me knows that I have "two left feet" when it comes to the idea of dancing... and as I'm male (which, in my opinion, is the weaker sex in dance, as they are the ones who expose themselves more and have to demonstrate their coordination and grace), I always end up watching, with great joy (obviously), the intricate and very interesting choreography of steps, glances and turns... In this small set of photographs taken on my trip to Cuba in 2010, everything was unexpected. I remember it was a hot Sunday afternoon. We started to hear the speakers blasting the infectious traditional music known as Salsa... In just a few minutes, the center of the avenue (which is a garden) was filled with Cubans and tourists doing their thing and freeing themselves from social ties or constraints.

What about your relationship with dancing?
I hope that you have a greater degree of active participation, and that you are not just spectators, as I am (unfortunately) of this fantastic form of individual expression.
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community

How beautiful to see so many people dancing like that in the streets, everyone looks so happy!
And they are really happy and heart lighted! Trust me... It is a contagious feeling that you get, just to be next to them :)
