This is my entry post in the #monomad challenge that is by @brumest and hosted by @monochromes
These are iron sheet furnished houses located in Kibera, a ghetto region of Nairobi where mostly poor people reside. Due to the high cost of living in Nairobi city of Kenya, some people resort to constructing or renting such houses. It's a bit dangerous to stay in this region due to much electric wiring which may cause high electricity-related accidents.
I took all these photos using my Itel S31 Camera.
The pictures are well done and I hope you do well in the nomad contest.
The images are shocking to me. Not because I haven't seen poverty or am not aware it exists, but, the fact that in this day and age, it still exists. The wiring is scary and such a dangerous environment for kids to be in.
Somewhere, somehow, there must be an agency or money to build livable quarters. Thank you for sharing!
