Once, deep in the darkest forest, I came across this smooth and shiny lizard. And yes, she's lost her limbs completely. We are used to the fact that a lizard loses its tail when it is in danger of being caught. But limbs ...
Actually, this is not her fault, as it happened during the evolutionary process. Now people (including me) take her for a snake. They are said to have small ear holes that snakes don't. Although I have not been able to see them, I still claim that this reptile is not poisonous. And not dangerous. At all.
These lizards move quite slowly, they are easy to catch in the frame.
So, this is my input to the Monomad Daily Challenge. Okay. Let's be honest. I just couldn't find a color scheme for processing these photos of the weird blend of dirty green and yellow shades.
Stay warm and safe!
Wow this is really an interesting photo, taken by a brave photographer.
Thank you 😊 I didn't dare to catch it but my husband did!
😃😃
Yay! 🤗

Oh I'm afraid of snakes from childhood , I think it's something we inherited it from our ancestors when they lived in caves .
I think you're right, it makes sense
