Title: The Right Hand Of God
Introduction
The right hand of God symbolizes power, authority, protection, glory, honor, and blessing. It represents God’s mighty workings in the lives of His people. Throughout Scripture, the right hand of God is shown to be a place of strength,refuge, victory, and divine presence.
God desires for His children to be seated at His right hand, where they will share in His authority until every enemy is made a footstool beneath their feet (Psalm 110:1). Yet, many believers attempt to navigate life on their own, relying on personal strength rather than resting in the power of God’s right hand. This leads to burdens too heavy to bear.
In this little study, we will explore the significance of God’s powerful right hand, His authority, and His presence in our lives.
1.The Right Hand of God: A Symbol of Power (Exodus 15:6)
God’s right hand is a hand of deliverance and mighty acts. It was His right hand that parted the Red Sea, brought victory to Israel, and crushed their enemies. The same hand is at work today, breaking chains, shattering barriers, and turning impossible situations around.
Rather than struggling alone, allow God’s right hand to take charge. Surrender that battle to Him and watch Him dethrone the enemy standing against your destiny.
2.The Right Hand of God: A Place of Honor and Authority
Jesus Christ, after His resurrection, was exalted to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), signifying the highest place of honor and divine authority.
As believers, we are not only redeemed by Christ but also seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). This means we share in His authority—given the right to rule, dominate, and walk in victory over the earth.
The enemy may try to intimidate, but your position in Christ is secure. You are not powerless; you have been given divine authority to overcome every opposition and walk in dominion.
3.The Right Hand of God: Strength in Times of Weakness
For every believer, God’s right hand is a source of strength, guidance, and security.
4.Sustains the Weak: “I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). When you feel weary, God’s right hand is there to strengthen and sustain you. He fills us with his righteousness and satisfies us with salvation.
5.Provides Guidance and Direction: “You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory” (Psalm 73:24). His hand leads those who trust Him.
6.Eternal Security and Salvation: Jesus, as the manifestation of God’s right hand, ensures the safety and intercession of every believer. He is our Savior and Mediator, securing our place in the kingdom of God.
Do not allow trials, temptations, or tribulations to pull you away from God’s covering. His right hand is your place of safety, strength, and victory.
Pray this daily prayer with me:
"Dear God, please do not take Your right hand from my life, for without it, I am nothing. Be my guide and sustainer. Deliver me from anything that seeks to pull me away from Your dwelling. Let me live confidently, knowing that I am upheld by Your righteous right hand. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
