Biblical Precedents, Similar Patterns in History.

This idea, People rebel against God even when He provides ideal conditions.

We see it multiple times in Scripture.
A. The fall of Adam and Eve, Genesis 3.

Adam and Eve lived in a perfect paradise, in direct fellowship with God. They had no suffering, no need, no pain, yet they still rebelled. This shows that sin is not about circumstances but about the human heart's desire for independence.

B. Israel's rebellion in the wilderness, Exodus, Numbers. God miraculously rescued Israel from Egypt, provided food from heaven, and led them with Despite experiencing God's miracles firsthand, they still worshipped idols, complained, and This proves that even direct evidence of God's power does not guarantee faithfulness.

C. Jesus' earthly ministry.
Jesus performed miracles, healed the sick, and raised the dead. The religious leaders and many people still rejected Him and called for His crucifixion.

This shows that even seeing God in human form does not automatically lead to faith. These examples all point to the same conclusion, rebellion against God is not just a product of bad environments, it is a deeper issue of the heart.

5.The final test.
Why does God allow this?
A. common question is, if Christ's reign is perfect, why does God allow Satan to be released at the end of the 1,000 years?
To expose the true state of the human heart. Throughout history, people have blamed sin on bad leadership, bad environments, or demonic. The millennial kingdom eliminates all these excuses. When Satan is released, he doesn't have to force people to rebel. They willingly join him.

This final rebellion proves beyond any doubt that sin is deeply rooted in the human heart.

B. To show the necessity of God's eternal kingdom. Even under Christ's righteous rule, sinful humanity still chooses to rebel.
This shows that a temporary kingdom on earth is not enough.

We need a permanent, sinless new creation. This sets the stage for the new heaven and new earth, Revelation 21-22, where sin is completely removed forever. This truth has practical lessons for us now.

Salvation requires a new heart.
External changes, better circumstances, religious rituals, moral rules, cannot remove sin.

Only God can transform the human heart.
Ezekiel 36, verse 26.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. Seeing miracles does not guarantee faith. Many people today say, if I saw a miracle, I would believe in God.

But history shows that even those who see miracles often still reject God, Israel in the wilderness, Jesus' generation. True faith is not just about seeing signs. It's about trusting in God.

God's final judgment is justified. Some question whether eternal punishment in the lake of fire is too harsh. But revelation 20 shows that even after experiencing Christ's perfect rule, many still choose to rebel.

This demonstrates that God's final judgment is completely just. Those who reject him do so willfully, even when given every opportunity to choose him.

The last rebellion in Revelation 20 serves as God's final proof that sin is not merely
the result of bad circumstances, lack of knowledge or Satan's deception. It is a deep-rooted issue in the human heart.
a perfect environment under Christ's righteous rule, many will still choose to rebel.

This ultimate test of humanity confirms that without true heart transformation through Christ, people will always turn away from God. This is why salvation is not just about changing the world around us, it's about changing our hearts.

Only through faith in Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit can we escape the sinfulness that leads to rebellion against God.
