God's deliverance and comfort.

Psalm 34 verses 17 to 18 declares,
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them.

He delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

This passage is a powerful promise of God's nearness, His willingness to listen, and His deliverance in times of distress.

God's Faithfulness to Hear and Deliver.

The verse assures us that when the righteous cry out, God hears them. This means that no prayer goes unnoticed and no plea is ignored.

A perfect example of this is the story of the
Israelites in Egypt. The Israelites cry for help. For years, the Israelites suffered under
Egyptian oppression. They cried out and God responded, I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt.

I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to write to you. Rescue them.

Exodus 3 verses 7 to 8. God's response shows His heart. He not only hears but also takes action. He raised Moses as a deliverer, leading the Israelites to freedom. Lesson.

When we cry out to God, He hears us. His response may not be immediate, but His deliverance is certain.

God is Close to the Brokenhearted

Pain and brokenness are part of life, but God does not abandon us in our suffering.

One of the most profound biblical examples of this is the story of Hagar. Hagar's despair in God's presence. Hagar, Sarah's maidservant, was mistreated and fled into the wilderness.

Pregnant and alone, she felt abandoned. But in her lowest moment, God met her through an angel who reassured her of His presence and a future for her son, Ishmael. Hagar called God El Roy, meaning the God who sees me, Genesis 16 verse 13.

This confirms Psalm 34 verse 18. is close to the brokenhearted. Lesson. Even when we feel unseen and forgotten, God is near. He sees our pain and offers comfort.

Deliverance doesn't always look the way we expect. While God promises deliverance, it does not always come in the way we anticipate. Paul and Silas in Prison
Paul and Silas were imprisoned for preaching the gospel. Instead of despairing, they worshipped God, and at midnight, an earthquake shook the prison, opening the doors,

Acts 16 verses 25 to 26. This deliverance was supernatural, yet their greatest impact came not from escaping but from leading the jailer to Christ. Lesson.

God's deliverance is not just about removing troubles but transforming them for His glory. Psalm 34 verses 17 to 18 is a promise that God hears us. He is near in our pain. His deliverance comes in His perfect way and timing.

Like the Israelites, Hagar and Paul and Silas, we can trust that God is always working even when we do not see it. Let us hold on to faith, knowing He is close to us in every trial.

Stay Blessed.
