Happy Sunday lovers of God. I'm so grounded with the joy of the lord and I was blessed by the ministration of the contemporary choir and the word in my church. The lyrics of the song were,
"This is Holy moment,
When God walks in on us,
Every gaze is on the lion,
And the lamb.
When the Glory comes,
There will be no words to say"
The lyrics came so powerful to my spirit as the choir was ministering. The glory of the lord will clothe us when we gaze our eyes on him. He will make us his righteousness when we make him our priority. This is when the Glory of the Lord will come and dwell in us.
What is the righteousness of God?
God's righteousness is the true character of God, revealing his natural influence that carries supernatural power upon men who look up to him in holiness, obedience, faithfulness, integrity, humility, love, and compassion. These are the things that are given to us freely.
Looking at the scripture. It is very clear and concise that searching for the scriptures is good, and this act of his righteousness proves to us who he is.
St. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
St. John 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
The truth in the scripture reveals Jesus Christ to us, and reflecting upon them will help us to have eternal life. Becoming the righteousness of God is not by mouth, but it is the content of the heart; what comes from the inside to the outside is what reveals who we are in Christ.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
This verse of the scripture reveals to us that the power of Christ brings salvation to those who believe. The power of Christ, which is the word of God, revealed the character of righteousness to us as we keep on believing and meditating on His word every day. Just like this scripture that says, the word shall not depart from our mouth but we will meditate on it day and night, and by living through the principles of the word, we will prosper and be victorious.
Becoming the righteousness of God is through the Gospel of Christ, showing forth the fruit of a righteous man to the world to see. I pray to the Holy Spirit to help me live a righteous life. The truth is that we can't be righteous by our own but by the help of the Holy Spirit.
Let's do away with malice, lying, lasciviousness, anger, and many more. They aren't Christ's character.
