You want to know what gets on my nerve?
Whenever we do something wrong and try to justify it, like, oh, God knows my heart, God knows me. To justify our sin, you negate the fact that even though somebody loves you, it does not justify what you did.
Please don't get me wrong. When a Christian finds out something they are doing is wrong, and then they get mad and be like, I can't do nothing when I'm a Christian. I can't do nothing as a follower of Christ.
First of all, think about what you gained because you used to be stressed and depressed, and God delivered you, and now you mad because you got to give certain things up that we're taking, literally, we're giving up your peace to.
Mind you belivers, I know it's your protection. I could be in a relationship with somebody, and they cheat on me, and I still love them anyway. That is my prerogative, but it does not justify the fact that cheating is wrong.
And if you claim to love God like you say you do, you would not feel comfortable doing things you know he does not like or that hurt him if you love him. If loving, if hurting me does not hurt you, you don't love me, you are using me.
And I heard Jerry Flowers say that, and it never fails to be true. God knows my heart, yes, he in fact actually does.
In the verse in the Bible that actually goes on to support that quote, literally says that, "There's a way that seems right unto a man, but the end is destruction", meaning even though it might seem right to you, even though God might know your heart, he really knows your true intentions, and what seems right to you still could be wrong.
You could have the right heart and still sin, and you could have the wrong heart and do the right thing.
