Hello Believers, how are you all doing today.
Let me tell you what God just told me.
You know the verse, obedience is better than sacrifice?
Well, the definition in Hebrew of obedience means to listen, understand, submit, and obey.
Today, the Lord said, it's not always about what you can give up.
Now, don't get me wrong. Sacrifice is important to God, whether it's your time, your gifts, your effort, you know. But he said, sometimes what you sacrifice without my direction, without my instruction, is something that I've given to you for a greater purpose.
Without obedience, you can't use what I've given you, what I've blessed you with, or how I've created you effectively. At least not to the fullness of the potential I had in mind.
A lot of times, as Christians, we choose to sacrifice things like our time, our resources, our energy, our money. And the Lord is saying, how many times, if you would have been obedient with what I've given you, could I have multiplied it?
Could he have gotten more glory out of it?
Your obedience not only pleases me, he's saying, but it creates the opportunity for you to see why it's important to trust me.
It builds your faith, and blessings and miracles can come from that.
When God blesses you, he's always thinking of somebody else.
