You Cannot Runaway From God

Something important that I'm learning lately, especially as a Christian, is you cannot run from your own reflection by running from the presence of God.

Like when you're in the presence of God, there's a certain level of vulnerability that you have to have to where you have to acknowledge where you're hurting. You have to acknowledge where you're broken. You have to acknowledge where you're struggling because God cannot comfort a lie.

There's no way that you can have intimacy with God and lie to him and lie to yourself because the Bible says that you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

If Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no man comes to the father except through him, you must first embrace the truth to come to before the father.

There's no way that you can like lies are like barriers. That's sin that separates us from God. Right. And so like coming into God's presence recently, I've been having a difficult time having intimacy with him because I've been feeling like nothing that I do is going to be good enough.

Like I hate being imperfect. I hate failing. And so I would I was inevitably running for myself by running for my imperfections because it's inevitable. That we are imperfect. We can perfect things, but we are not perfect as people.

And so I was running from those parts of me that were flawed, that needed improvement. And so it got to the point to where I just stopped coming to spend time with God because it didn't feel safe anymore because I was high.

I was running for me as if I was a threat when his grace is sufficient for me.
And we have to understand that we go in God's presence. That is a safe space for us. That's a place where we can embrace his love and his grace for literally designed for our imperfections.

Not to comfort sin, but to give us grace in a space for him to heal and begin to uncover and perfect those imperfections.
And so he loves you in spite of your flaws. He loves you in spite of what makes sense to you or what you're still struggling in.

But he wants you to be able to admit it so that you can identify it and then surrender it and invite him into it. So whatever you're identifying, that's frustrating. You don't run from God because he is the answer to the problem.

And I think that's something I'm learning right now. Bye, guys.
