The Fear Of The Lord Is The Beginning Of Wisdom

in The Kingdom7 days ago

I was sitting here and the Lord began to give me revelation concerning a certain scripture that people either misinterpret or they don't understand.

And the scripture that the Lord began to minister to me concerning was, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Most people assume that the fear that the Lord is talking about is to be scared, frightened, or you are in terror. But that is not what this scripture means.

God give us free will to serve him. He would never force us to serve him. God don't want you to be scared when serving him because there's no love in that.

The fear that the Lord is speaking of is to reverence him, to obey him, and to love him. Because when you love God with all of your heart, your soul, and your mind, that will keep you from doing the wrong things and compel you to do the right things pleasing to God.

And through this, God gives wisdom that will keep you in the perfect will of God. This is why the Lord said, If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to man freely, and it shall be given.

God don't want you to fear him in a way that you are scared, but he wants you to fear him in love.

Satan knows that you are a child of God. He knows that he can't stop what God is doing in your life. And he knows that you only answer to God and that terrifies him.
