Accepting God's will; All Things Work Together For Our Good

in The Kingdom2 days ago

Hello everyone, let's discussing one of the outstanding and underrating fact of christian living and purpose driven life of every believer. Knowing the will of God and letting it fulfilled through you is what every believer should pray, God created man as a free being, he lets man decide what to do at a time and whom to serve. The greatest privilege of every man is letting God's will fulfilled or achieved through him. Jesus had the opportunity to escape hus dead which brought salvation to humanity but he rather than prayed for the will of God to done. Interestingly, God is never bankrupt and no man is ever indispensable for God, you can be replaced at anytime for God's will be fulfilled or achieved. Judas Iscariot has all the trainings, exposure, teaching and heavenly revelation by sitting and walking with Jesus who revealed the mystery of heaven and about God to him yet he was replaced.

David is one man who understood the will of God and always seek for God's will to prevail. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 God's purpose in creating and redeeming us is to reveal and magnify His glory (Isa. 43:1–7; Eph. 1:3–14). Scripture even tells us that man is the image and glory of God” and woman “the glory of man,” that is, “the glory of the glory of God (1 Cor.7-8). The promise of Romans 8:28 that God works for our good “in all things” is reassuring. It means that no matter the circumstance, there are only two things for God to be working all things together for our good.

First, He works for “the good of those who love Him.” If you love God, you can trust that He is working for your good. He loves you back, and when we love people, we seek their welfare. He works for “those who are called according to His purpose.” Do you realize that following God entails submitting to His purpose for you? You have been called by Him for a purpose that He holds for your life. Being called according to God’s purpose also reminds us what “our good” actually is. It’s not our comfort or worldly success. It’s the furthering of His purpose through us. Therefore, We were made to reflect God’s glory, which is the goal of our existence, so we cannot be truly fulfilled unless we are glorifying God.

Man’s main purpose is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. In all the things that have happened to you in the past, and also that are happening to you today, and even in what will happen to you in the future God has been working, and God is working now, and God will be working in everything for your present and eternal good. There's always unlimited grace while striving to do God's will or willingly accepting his will to be done in ones life.
