Hello everyone, let's discuss one of the key component of why you are Christian, why you are a believer, you are said to be called out, the hope that makes you different from other people. Understanding salvation became a key subject of discussion for every believer because by understanding one can be assured of what has or given. I could tell why some people can't value what they because there's no understanding of the treasure which they carry in earthly vessel. But we have this precious treasure [the good news about salvation] in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty], so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves. 2 Corinthians 4:7

Therefore, understanding salvation begin with the knowledge that man is a spirit being with soul but lives in the body, the death of every man begin with spirit death that put the soul in the place of confusion that brings decay of the body. God knows about man's salvation for save him from decaying and confused state, therefore announced man's redemption right from the beginning. The Lord God made tunics of [animal] skins for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3:21 No matter how man try, there's no possibility of him helping himself, he struggles as much but couldn't save himself, so he needed a saviour but who would be this saviour?
Because God created man a spirit being with ability to make choices but spiritually sick, to always hunger for satisfaction. Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever]. Matthew 5:3 it could be seen that the very first solution to man's sickness was solve spiritually.
In this solution, man could boost of Eternal Life the very LIFE OF GOD This is called Eternal Spiritual Salvation or Eternal Security*** to heal, revive and bring Man's spirit back to Life. Here is the mystery of salvation through God and by God alone because Eternal Life is life in the spirit that can never be lost, it's said to be man's greatest need, very expensive but could not be gotten by money nor good works.
Man's salvation/redemption begins in the spirit, therefore, that's wen the spirit is saved, the soul received renewal which must constantly feed upon. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:2
The renewal help the eye of the soul that's man's mind, to align with who he is in spirit brings about soul salvation where the soul finds safety. The body also needs salvation of the body for him to experience total redemption which is the final redemption from mortality to immortality through constantly feeding on healthy food of God (the gospel of Christ). But a careless use of the body leads to the missing out of this opportunity. Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. Romans 12:1
