Hello everyone! Welcome to another session of biblical interaction, I hope you enjoy your new year to the fullest. There are certain things are very crucial as we began the year and that's whom you're to serve! Knowing whom you serve will ease a lot of stress, strengthen your faith, brings hope and boost your knowledge in God. There was a time people of God were facing some kind of indifferences, they were kind of confused because of multiple gods they came to embrace at some point and at that moment someone has to call them to order by reminding them of the same God who came to them right in their place of bondage and slavery in order to give them not just freedom but a land which wasn't their own, full of opportunities and good things.

Joshua at some point was marvelled at how quickly the people forgot the mighty hand of God that delivered them from their afflictions. It's possible for a people to forget and forsake God that once delivered him/her from all forms of sina, afflictions and entanglement. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods;Joshua 24:15-16.
One could think that was them but certainly even till today, as believers in Christ whom Christ has given us liberty and freedom over all things including cisterns that doesn't hold water, some are still at fault for following false gods (teachings and believe system) who promise us comfort, understanding, and love but the truth be told, many of us have chosen to go to others who know less about our situations than the Father who created the heavens and the earth. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24
This speech from Joshua calls for us to be witnesses just as he calls the Israelites: that we have to not just speak these words so we “look” like Christians, but proclaim them boldly to ourselves that, from this day forth, our houses, our families, and ourselves will serve only the one, true Lord. Therefore, it came an imperative to choose you this day whom ye will serve in 2025, just as Joshua I declare boldly that as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. As in the days of Joshua, so it is with us today. You can pray with me ***O Lord our Father, give me the grace not to be ashamed of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and forsake anything that might withstood me from serving God even in years to come.
