Genesis 15:1 - After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.
In the previous chapter, Abram conquered nations that belonged to 4 kings to save his nephew Lot. Most likely, Abram was afraid of these nations recruiting others and getting revenge on Abram.
God personally spoke with Abram. God knew his fears and let Abram know not to be afraid. God promised to protect Abram (I am your shield).
I believe God speaks to us personally. God knows our fears and promises to protect us.
If you find yourself worrying about what lies ahead, dwell on the fact that God is with you, and he has promised to bless you.
Who or what am i?

Hi, Atma. First, thank you for stopping by and commenting and for the generous upvote. I'm not sure what your question means, but I assume you are just getting me thinking about what is God? or who am I? Let me start by saying I value your beliefs and opinions. I do believe behind it all, past thought, there is just awareness. There is peace in the moment in this awareness. This peace helps me get by. However, I also believe there is an individual here that needs to be saved. So again, if you disagree I still value your opinions and beliefs. Have a blessed day.
Precisely
Is that individual separate from "God"?
Yes, In fact , god always speaks to us “personally”, in fact, he is us, nothing more personal exists in any existence..
Thank you for offering food for thought!!!
