Jongo life update!
I know you guys are super excited about it lol
So I moved into my home a few weeks ago and have been busy 'unpacking' all the boxes, moving furniture, getting things from the storage unit...You have to understand that even moving day may have been weeks ago for me, I haven't really 'moved in' completely.
We're getting close though, box by box and one of the more exciting parts of this move is yours truly, being able to set up his home office.
Well....It's not so much a home office. It's kind of an 'everything room'. And let me explain....
I don't really work from home anymore, but I still wanted a place where I could do my blockchain stuff...In relative peace :)
But I also needed a home study, my personal library and a small room where we could get away from it all per se.
My happy place is in my books, so having my home library set up was a priority for me. Of course, I mentioned before that most of my books are now on the religious side of things, but as you can see from some of these pics....I still need more space lol
There's my main bookshelf, even though I 3 in the room. It does hold the most books, and it's jam packed in the corner already. Lots of theology on those shelves :)
As you can see, this isn't a huge room. But I have been able to fit everything I want so far. Which includes all my bibles, my bible commentaries,
and a whole bunch of Spirit of Prophecy books. But wait there's more....
I was able to snag this little day bed / couch to give my room a place to rest and relax while reading. It's super comfortable lol And like I mentioned, it's also a bed which allows this little study to become a guest room as well.
And finally....
Where the magic happens lol
I have my journals, my computer, my devotionals and a whole lot of pens and bible highlighters ;)
I have some hefty study bibles too, so a desk where I have plenty of space for my commentaries, bibles and concordances was much needed.
I'm not complete happy with how things are laid out and positioned, so that'll change but generally this should be a good idea of how the 'study library' will look. Most importantly, I have a place where I can do my daily devotions and study my bible in my own little sanctuary.
This is literally.....My favorite room in the new home, even if it's a wee bit small.

One day I will also have a little office... lol. Right now I am on the Dining room table.
I hear ya man, nothing wrong with a dining room table. That's how I started my business 25 years ago, literally on a coffee table I paid 10 bucks for lol
lol, Humble beginnings. But that space looks really good for you to be in a safe and comfortable place to get productive and/or creative!
That's normal mate! Moving can't be done in just a weekend, but needs some more days, better step by step ;)
As long as you have enough space for everything, it's fine. I am sure you will get used to it soon enough and make changes to make yourself more comfortable. It just takes some time.
Wife didn't let you call it Man Cave? 😂
Good to hear it's coming along! Moving is a lot of a work but I'm sure you guys will be very happy at the new place
Very nice! My husband has a home office with all his retired professor books. I have a computer desk in the living room and have the guest room for sewing/designing. My work space fluctuates as occasionally someone needs to stay with us for a while. I am grateful for the space to be flexible. !BBH

relocating is not always a one day thing. It spans to even months when considering you'll gradually have to relocate your mentality. It's good to see your are finding happiness in where you are now and what your are currently doing. Have a blessed week friend
