Let me start with 2 parts of Scriptures. The first one is Psalms 110:1 which says: "The LORD says to my Lord, 'Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool"
The second one is Philippians 2:5-11. It was written: 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11
There is an office preserved in and from eternity for a personality who will be worthy of occupying it. Whoever the person will be, such must prove that they truly deserve it, as it won't be given as a gift.
The Word of God (who is eventually known as Jesus) took the steps necessary to become befitting to assume this office. He came to the earth realm to live a victorious life - He overcome sin and self and death, and still proceeded to hades to plunder hell and satan. Upon the fullness of His obedience to the eternal divine order, sacrificially and impressively, He was exalted into the office of the Christ, granted a Personality that will always be above every other. After the coronation, He sat down at the right hand of the Father, and the nature of the office is that He is Lord over all. Basically, the office of the Christ which Jesus earned was an entrustment given Him by the heavens without partiality or emotionalism. Such critical heavenly entrustments can only be earned with the currency of faithfulness.
Now, the incredible thing is this (which should revive and boast your love and admiration for the Lord Jesus). The whole idea behind His sacrifices to occupy the office of the Christ, was because of we humans. He came down to be willingly abused; He went to hades to battle the enemy; so that He can eventually drag us with Him to be seated with Him in the heavenly places! Amazing Jesus! Imagine such love and selflessness! So, anyone who embrace Jesus as Lord and savior, such will be given the Name of Jesus. The victory He gave us is the access we have to His Name. Remember that the Life of God is hidden in that Name.
The Righteousness of God is in that Name. The Authority of God is in that Name. The Name of Jesus saves. The Name of Jesus delivers. The Name of Jesus doesn't just carries healings, breakthrough, etc, but it carries the essence of everything God.
The embodiment of all that God is has been captured in that Name. The issue is, many believers are yet to have a genuine encounter with that Name. We are yet to have a revelation of the Name. We are not aware of the great power that resides in the Name, but we just call it casually and religiously.
By faith, the believer has been given the privilege of Oneness to a Name. I'm talking about the reality of what Christ has done, and our access to it. It is not enough to know how to call the Name, we must consciously have access to it. The basis of your victory as a believer is the awareness of your Oneness with Christ. This makes you a manifestation of the glory that comes with that Name.
This makes you a manifestation of the power that comes with that Name. This makes you a manifestation of the victory that comes with that Name.
Now, Philippians 2:10 says, "at the name of Jesus..." Not simply "at the mention of...". We must always utilize the name from a standpoint of one seated in the heavenly places with Christ. The Name is a position in the Spirit. So, even when you are calling "Jesus", you should call it with that consciousness - the consciousness that you have been made a partaker of the Name.
You are seated in the heavenly places with Christ through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:6), and you are now one with Him (John 14:20,23) It means, what He has is now yours, and vice versa. Hence, you can stand on the consciousness of one who have access to the office of the Christ (who is LORD over everything), to abide in the realm of God like He is. With that consciousness, you can make things happen for your good. If you can walk in this, you will never be helpless and hopeless in life. You will always live a constant life of victory, which is our portion as sons and daughters of God.
