Childhood Memories
A quick short story about fear as a believer. I was still in children department at my local assembly, as a child growing up you are always eager to explore even though I was a quite and shy type,am usually up to my toes when in group. And so I joined our children choir, we usually go from house to house calling our choir members because we don't really live far away from each other.
The Incident
On that faithful day, few of my friends who were also part of the choir department decided to go call one of us that has not arrived yet, so we walked, following a short route,little did we know we where using our shoes to step on Holy ground. How did we know this, after walking past there for the first time of course we have to return back and so we followed thesame route.
On our way while coming back, a lady stopped us and said "when we walked past the first time she discovered we where all with shoes, she realised we had no idea where we where so she ignored but while we walked past there the second time, she saw us stepping on the Holy ground again, she couldn't hold it and hence the stopping".
Fear and Reaction
As a child that is growing up, that quite knows the things of the spirit, fear gripped me, not just me but us. We ran quickly back to church and started praying with fear. What a day it was, I don't think I will ever forget that experience because it was quit intense and serious for a child.
Curiosity
I don't recall telling our children pastor at that time, I wonder if one my friends did. But I know of a fact I told my mom about it.
