Every true believer of God is being called to serve God in one way or the order and how we respond to God's call matters a lot it shows if we really believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ.how we respond to God's calling proves that we are in total submission to him.
I was in church today and one of our choir member was appointed as the new music director,it was given to a lady and she was crying because she was appoint as the new music director,I was wondering why she was crying bitterly,so I decided to approach her and ask her why she was crying and she said to me that she doesn't like the post given to her and she can't handle the choir i was worried,And God spoke to me at that moment that I should tell her to pick her bible and read from the book of Philippians 4:13,which quote" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and I still ask her to read the book of Isaiah 6:1-13,where God called out to Isaiah saying "who will go for us,who will be my messenger"and Isaiah replied "here I am lord send me"Isaiah never complained or rejected the called of God but rather he submit to the call of God.they lady wipe her tears and asked God for mercy and she accepted the called of God because she believed that she can't do it by her own strength but by the strength of the holy spirit. without faith we cannot please God anyone that want to please God must believe that God exist and if we believe that God exist we must remain obedient to him believe in your gospel so every true believer is being called to serve god and in serving god we most remain pure.
If we look at this scripture you will see that those people that obeyed the call of God where being blessed and a lot of them were blessed with long life some where able to see the glory of God in their life so if we too much share in the blessings of God Almighty we must remain obedient to his calling and we must do this in:
perseverance: accepting God's Call even when it's not in our favor and even when it is difficult we will still remain obedient to God.
Humility:being humble before God and not exalting our ourselves.
Faith:believing in God work and remaining committed to it without doubting God.
Benefits in been obedience to God's Call
Obedient to God's Call brings blessings to us as Christian and brings us closer to God and helps us as Christian to remain connected to God,hearing God's voice and knowing the will of God.
Consequences of disobeying God's Call
We have seen how those who disobeyed God's Call faces the consequences and some of those consequences are:not receiving God's blessing, spiritual death, separating us from our relationship with God,bring physical illness.
As Christian we should always ask God for the grace to be obedient to his call and to be able to accept God's will in our lives and to remain committed to him always.
