The Day Has Finally Arrived
The Hive Fitness Club account and community have been launched! This has been in the works for some time now, but we are glad that the time has come. We have been connecting with the Hive community through a variety of servers in discord and happy to make these connections. This network effect is what Hive is all about, as the famous @nathanmars would say, "Hive 5". The creation of this community is helping take a step towards that.
Who Are We?
Some back story to Hive Fitness Club is that this is not our first rodeo on Hive. Currently, this account is run by an individual. I will remain anonymous, at this point, so to put the community before myself. However, I have been involved in Hive/Steem for 4 years. It is amazing to see the development of the blockchain and community, even with the events that happened leading up to the Steem hardfork. Go Hive! I have had multiple accounts on Hive, quite frankly though, these have all been experimenting with using and posting on the platform. Now feels like the right time to commit to something that is a passion of mine and to serve the wider community. @hivefitnessclub represents a community that is here to #GetHiveFit.
There is clearly a lot of love and support for new communities and tribes here on Hive. It is great to see the amount of manual curation going on from Hive whales within those tribes to help get them off the ground. We would love to be part of that too, any Hive whales feel free to get in touch.
Operation #GetHiveFit
This is the hashtag and mission we went for to kick start our place here on Hive. Look, we are all doing well for ourselves financially. We are all into crypto and specifically, Hive. I don't know about you but our Hive investment has done very well indeed. There has been the amazing addition of new dapps, such as @nftshowroom, @splinterlands and @leofinance which have all added major utility and value to the blockchain. However, we need to get fit. We need to #GetHiveFit. I like that hashtag. We will present a variety of challenging and opportunities to get together and connect, taking Hive further. Fitness provides a great opportunity to push yourself and this transcends into all other areas of your life. Think about this for a second, when you were training towards a specific race of physical goal did you notice that you were empowered to take strides in other areas of your life? It is likely that this was indeed the case.
Not only Fitness
As per our logo, we incentivize anything that promotes health, wellbeing and fitness...not just solely fitness! To us, health and wellbeing are just as important, if not more, than fitness. Fitness is just one component of health. Physical health is important however mental health is paramount too. Nonetheless, it's really important to #GetHiveFit.
Community and Collaboration
We have seen the amazing impact that @mcfarhat and the @actifit team have created. We want to collaborate with their efforts and work in symbiosis together, not against one another. We both share the same passions and missions so it is imperative that we work together. We have already shown them some love by adding @actifit to our fanbase on hive.vote For those that do not know, hive.vote is a great application that you can use to boost your curation efficiency. We would really appreciate it if you added us to your fanbase and joined our curation trail.

Initially, this is the logo we are going for. I made this on canva not long ago. To be honest, I am really happy with it. Although, there may be some artists amongst us on Hive when can create a compelling logo for us. Perhaps @brataka or @artmom with their amazing sketches or the digital art that @isaria and @juliakponsford could create!
This is just what I needed. I searched for a fitness community just a few weeks back and couldn't find a n active one. Good luck!
