For some years i have been playing with bokeh in all kinds of ways , with the coming the holidays i thought about another way to use bokeh again.
What you need are some christmas decoration LED's bought mine 180 lights for €18.- this morning.
Some lenses with apperture 2.8 or less, I have 5 of those so i didn't have to purchase that .
Some cut out symbols or bokeh kit from aliexpress 🇨🇳
i bought 2 set's one for 49mm and one for 58mm with extra symbols .
you click these on the fron of your lens without damaging anything.
But if you are good with a cutting knife you can always cut your own, like @fraenk did some years ago in his post.
So time for some test shoots:
hang up the christmas LED's in the attic
check if the bokeh works with the lens
Jupiter-8 85mm 2.0 with 49mm BOKEH cap with heart symbol.
The 25mm cctv lens next to the Jupiter , to small to work with the symbols.
so we are going to pick the Jupiter tonight
The Sigma 105mm didn't work to well on such a short distance for this.
Smileys
question marcs
and now with a subject we all know ,photography is an expensive hobby
but same say love can be expensive too
and finally 2 shots with the helios i hope to do some portrait shoots later this week .
i could show all the symbols that came with the package but that wouldn't improve the quality of the post i think.
There will be more soon it just takes time to set things up .

These are all such fun! I am excited to see what you will create with them!
i might setup a contest to see what other people come up with :)
I think that's a great idea! ♥️
That's quite a nice toy to play with. And a few thoughts about some new ways to monetize photographs ;)
...also gives another idea or two about things to discuss in the community :)
i'm working towards Christmas card and fun pictures with my first grandchild :)
That sounds fantastic and fun! Really looking forward to see the end "product" :) I'm sure these would be lovely and unique!
Have a great day!
