Indeed it was. Probably the biggest reception I've ever been to, I wouldn't be surprised if guest list in the thousands as the celebrations continue for several days, people come and go.
The bride and the groom are Muslim, no shoes are allowed in their homes so that small room is just before the entrance of their house where people leave their shoes ;)

.I didn't know about such a culture. We also don't wear shoes inside the house, as Muslim and culturally as well. But we usually place a small shoe rack beside the door to leave the shoes there.

This village is in the mountain and I think it rains frequently so they build those extra rooms that are not actually rooms for the shoes ;)
