You touched on my biggest issue with referral codes...
These creator referral codes are so good for the game's ecosystem, but, it's going to make outsiders EVEN MORE suspicious of the idea that Axie is actually fun
It's hard to trust someone telling you "this thing is good" when they're getting money out of saying it... I don't know how you can do the referral thing while minimizing that feeling, but oh well. I'm not a player of Axie, but I think it's a good game from what its players are saying about it.
