RE: Back to Zero: Not Hacked, Secured || Axie Infinity

in Axie Buzz3 years ago

It's so important to take care of our assets, especially nowadays when the number of scams is constantly increasing.

One thing to note about hardware wallets and all wallets in general.

While they are all secure, they'll never save you from yourself.

The majority of users who get "hacked", don't get a breach on the wallet side, but the human side. They all compromise their own wallets by inputting seed phrases either to phishing sites or into a keylogger infected devices. No hardware wallet to date prevents their users from handing over the keys to their wealth to scammers.

The most important aspect of crypto storage which a lot of users overlook, is thinking they're safe as they've got a hardware wallet.

Proper seed phrase storage and management is thus of utmost importance.

I will probably buy that destruction proof card that can store the seed phrase. Maybe in the future, The hardware is always 2x the price here in our country.
