Meet my Foster Baby Axies
Life is a battle of chasing and living your dreams, and by pursuing, you have to meet individuals who will walk you through. By living your goals, you have to choose where you grow the most and let happenings flow according to how they are destined to be.
Today, I am celebrating my first month as an Axie content creator, most specifically as a journalist, in standard terms as a writer. In celebrating, I have to introduce at last the product of my research and previous doubts- of the transition through the growth I had in being part of the Axie Infinity Community.
Reminder: I am introducing them in a way they are arranged or positioned used in attacking in the gameplay process.
First, meet up the Plant Axie.
This Plant Axie will be named Thorn. Literally speaking, when you take a glimpse of it, the most notable thing you had gazed at is its horn, the cactus.
Cactus has thorns; thus, it has spikes.
Speaking of spikes, why it has to be named Thorn?
Those who did not know how @axie_journalist of PeakD and Twitter settle to be not just ordinary campus journalists. Taking it into a more productive level of research, understanding, and enjoyment is because I met people along the way who believed that I can make an impact through her writings. I can help more people in achieving their goals and dreams by becoming a scholar first.
When I first opened my account on Twitter, she released her very first essay that leads her to the family who helped her grow first individually. Later on, she helped her look for scholarships to help her attain her goals and ambitious takes in life. @AxieSpike is the first one who believed in her following recommendation for his first scholar, @jaesaur. So basically, Jey and Brother Spike were the first person who walks the dreamer in @axie_journalist through Axie Infinity. Thorn, as an Axie plant, means he is tankest Axie. By being the tankest, he is the front lineman. Front line or tank Axies serves as the defense core of an Axie team.
Thorn as a name means he is brave, and he is strong. A shield that can take away severe damages to prevent defeat and further capacitating the other Axies to attack the opponent by not getting attack themselves. Thorn is basically @AxieSpike, a brother and mentor who will boost you up. Someone who will see the light in you and believe that you can do better and leave an impact.
The second one is in the middle line, the bird one that can be considered a Beast at first view.
The bird Axie is named Sirius. Personally speaking, Sirius is my favorite star. Before axie_journalist as a username came to life, Siri or Sirius is commonly used for stan account or a fan account of Korean pop idols.
Sirius's name is tailored by my manager's name, DarthSithius. Coming up with names, what struck me the most is that Sirius is pink and looks like a rambutan. This pink bird exemplifies her and the rambutan that specifically paved the way for me to be a scholar. DS offer is one of the unpredicted events that has happened so far. After posting a picture that I never even thought would bring me closer to becoming an Axie Infinity scholar, I just got asked. Before that, DS was one of my first followers, meaning she believed I could make it to through my writings. DS empowered dreamers like me with the ambitious outlook of life and taught me to go outside, spread my wings up, soar the horizon and explore my potentials.
Basically, DS gave me wings to fly high while my feet are set on the ground. She allowed me to help my parents in my little way and maybe help me achieve the Axie Dream Project that I have in mind.
Sirius, like a star, is the brightest star in the constellation of Canis Major. As DS became my star, who granted mine wished. The pink bird Axie basically is my star, and that it depicts so much of the rambutan that helped me all the way through.
The third Axie is the Aqua one. He is named Ample, derived from Sir Rich Cabrera's name(@therealCabrera.eth).
To those not familiar with, Ample is a synonym of Rich, and that it means a lot to me. With Ample time of learning and walking through servers to servers, and learning strategies from streamers to streamers, Sir Rich were one of those who believed in me and offered me a scholarship.
He is also one of those first 5 who followed me back on Twitter when I started building my Axie Dream Project. Sir Rich is like the Aqua focusing on helping his scholar develop an ample amount of skills to be on top. The Aqua stats define it as ample abilities to battle hand in hand with top players and contenders in the arena and adventure mode.
The opportunities I had received so far, with the scholarship offers from mentioned and unmentioned guilds, brought me very much of an eye-opener me. These were the Axies under my care, for I don't know how long I can take. But with a constant effort to make them grow to sustain the scholarship program going and to make an impact, there's too much more to go.
For a month, people have been cheering and supporting me unconditionally. In Axie Infinity, I found my vessel and confidence to stay with me and unleash my potential. The current Axie I have talked to me to never forget those people who walk me through the process of becoming a scholar. To never forget their wisdom, their hype, and their trust. I'm not even a 14-day scholar yet, and I know I'm still in the process of an in-depth understanding of the game. This is the only way I can think of walking you all through the start of my Axie Infinity journey before an extensive discussion about the Axie stats, cards, and all I found out in the gameplay.
