A few days ago I finished my scholarship period in Axie Infinity and I was able to finish gathering for the investment to buy my first Axie team, I am very excited and, therefore, today I will share with you the characteristics of its members.
Let's start with whom I chose as my tank, that is, the one who will be in the front row to hold as long as possible most of the attacks of our opponents.
Hace unos días terminé mi periodo de becado en Axie Infinity y pude terminar de reunir para la inversión de compra de mi primer equipo de Axie, estoy muy emocionado y, por eso, hoy les comparto cuáles son las características de quienes le integran.
Empezemos por a quien elegí como mi tanque, es decir, aquél que va a estar en primera fila para aguantar el mayor tiempo posible la mayoría de los ataques de nuestros contricantes.

It has more speed than a common plant because it has a fish part, which gives me an advantage against the opponent's tank if it is a pure plant, and although this makes us have two points less life, I do not worry too much because of the characteristics of the cards, which I will comment below:
Pumpkin, which gives me a good defense (110) and with the ability October treat gives me the possibility to draw a card to the team member of whoever attacks me if he does not break my shield, which is very feasible by the amount of defense that only this card gives us, not counting the others that we can play, including this same one twice.
Zigzag, which stands out because besides having an acceptable defense (60), with the ability to Drain bite, it heals this Axie for the same amount of damage it inflicts with this card (60).
Rose Bud, is another healing card that although it gives us less defense than the previous one (40) it compensates it because with the ability Healing Aroma, it heals us 120 HP, that is to say, it would make a good combo with the previous card since it is 180 of life restoration.
Hatsune, gives us a good defense (80) and, above all, with the ability Leek leak, disables for one round the ranged attack card of whoever attacks us, ideal to apply it - for example - to Axies bird type, since most of their attacks are ranged.
Tiene más velocidad que una planta común porque tiene una parte de pez, lo cual me da una ventaja ante el tanque del rival si es planta pura, y aunque esto hace que tengamos dos puntos menos de vida, no me preocupa mucho por las características de las cartas, que en seguida comento:

Zigzag, el cual resalta porque además de tener una defensa aceptable (60), con la habilidad Drain bite*, cura a este Axie por la misma cantidad de daño que infligue con esta carta (60).
Rose Bud, es otra carta de curación que aunque nos da menos defensa que la anterior (40) lo compensa porque con la habilidad Healing Aroma, nos cura un 120 de HP, es decir, haría un buen combo con la carta anterior, ya que son 180 de restauración de la vida.
Hatsune, nos da una buena defensa (80) y, sobre todo, con la habilidad Leek leak, desactiva por un round la carta de ataque rango (a distancia) de quien nos ataque, ideal para aplicarlo - por ejemplo - a Axies tipo pájaro, ya que la mayoría de sus ataques son de rango.

The cards of this Axie are:
Ronin, which although it doesn't give me any shield, with its single combat ability, guarantees us a critical hit if I play it with at least two other cards, which is equivalent to a 150 attack, not counting those that may accompany them.
Goda, has balanced stats (80 attacks and 40 shields) but the most important thing is its ability to Piercing sound with which we destroy an energy of the opposing team if it saves any, which usually happens.
Imp, a card that shows its full potential when combined with the Ronin, since in combo with it in addition to ensuring the critical hit with the ability Ivory stab makes us gain energy (This combo is usually called Rimp), with the possibility that the same happens if any of the team members also makes a critical hit.
Cottontail, have two advantages: It is a 0 energy cost card, and with the ability Luna absorb it makes us gain 1 energy just by the fact of using it. So, a magnificent closure for the cards of this Axie focused on a fundamental point in every battle, the energy.
Una de las características especiales de este Axie es que su raza es Metch, lo cual me da una ventaja en velocidad ante las bestias puras, además tiene una parte de planta con lo cual tengo un poco más de vida, también muy conveniente ya que estos tipos de axies, igual que las bestias, suelen ser débiles en este aspecto. Las cartas de este Axie son:
Ronin, que aunque no me da nada de escudo, con su habilidad single combat, nos garantiza un golpe crítico si la juego con al menos dos cartas más, lo que equivale a un 150 de ataque, sin contar con las que les puedan acompañar.
Goda, tiene unas estadísticas equilibradas (80 de ataque y 40 de escudo) pero lo más importante es su habilidad de Piercing sound con la cual destruimos una energía del equipo contario si éste guarda alguna, lo cual suele ocurrir.
Imp, una carta que manifesta todo su potencial al combinarse con la Ronin, ya que en combo con ella además de asegurar el golpe crítico con la habilidad Ivory stab nos hace ganar una energía (Este combo, se suele llamar Rimp), con la posibidad de que ocurra lo mismo si alguno de los miembros del equipo también hace un golpe crítico.
Cottontail, tienen dos ventajas: Es una carta de coste 0 de energía y con la habilidad Luna absorb nos hace ganar 1 energía sólo por el hecho de usarla. Así pues, un cierre magnífico para las cartas de este Axie, enfocadas en un punto fundamental en cada batalla, la energía.

An important note here is that to activate this card, I have to play it first if I use it as a combo.
Piranha, in addition to its attack (120), has like the previous one the possibility of attacking an Axie different from the first position, but in this case, it is with the ability Crimson water that makes it attack the Axie with less life, with the condition that this Axie has less than 50% of life.
Oranda With 120 attacks and 30 defense is also an excellent card for two reasons: it is a ranged attack, which gives balance to the others, which are all melee; and with its ability Hero's Bane, which ends the last stand of the Axie it attacks, ideal against the beasts, which have high morale.
Navaga A very good defense (40) and attack (100), plus if it is the first Axie to attack (which is likely due to its speed) with its Flanking smack ability, it adds 20% to its base attack (reaching 120).
Es un Axie tipo pez puro, lo cual le da una buena estadística en velocidad, y tienen una cantidad de vida bastante buena (45) para ser un Axie que se enfoca sobretodo en atacar, lo cual se evidencia en sus cartas:
Perch, un buen ataque (100) y con su spinal tap nos da la posibilidad de atacar al Axie del equipo contrario que no juegue ninguna carta, lo cual nos viene muy bien, pues, en las primeras rondas lo que suele suceder es que se juegan las cartas para proteger al tanque y se deja desprotegidos los otros dos. Nota importante aquí es que para activar esta carta, la tengo que jugar de primero si la uso como combo.
Piranha, además de su ataque (120), tiene al igual que la anterior la posibilidad de atacar un Axie diferente al de primera posición, pero en este caso es con la habilidad Crimson water que hace que ataque al Axie con menos vida, con la condición de es que este Axie tenga menos del 50 % de vida.
Oranda Con 120 de ataque y 30 de defensa es también una carta excelente por dos razones: es de ataque a distancia, lo que le da equilibrio a las demás, que son todas de tipo cuerpo a cuerpo (Melee); y con su habilidad Hero's Bane, que finaliza el last stand del Axie al que ataque, ideal contra las bestias, que tienen una moral alta.

Congratulations on having such a well balanced team! I have used a Plant-Beast-Aqua team as well before when I was a scholar. Now I am using a double reptile team to counter the current double aqua meta. Just a tip, you can use your Beast as a backline when you reach a higher rank since beast with 0 energy card can easily defeat reptiles with stuns.

Congrats on graduating from your scholarship! You chose a good team with a wide range of abilities: healing, energy generation, control, backdoor. Only thing is that the Mech might be very card-draw dependent and you might not be able to do enough damage to kill off the opponent's tank in one turn sometimes. Agree with Grenfunkel's comment that the Mech would be a nice backline counter in 1v1 with termi-reptiles. Apart from having the 0-cost to clear stuns, 44 speed is faster than most specially bred termis that have 42-43 speed to be faster than beasts. But you might lack damage if you play your cards too fast in the early rounds and don't draw the right cards towards the end, especially since reptiles have very high shield. If you save your cards and play them well you will do fine, good luck =)
