Thinking of the first thing that I will write here at Hive took me days before I finally got the courage (and time) to do so. While it may not be that of a big deal to some, I just want to make my first entry a memorable one.
Give a man a fish, and you will feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime. But what will the man eat while you are teaching him to fish? Give him a fish first, then teach him how to sustain himself.
The quote looks different, right? Yes. That's why we are here. That's why I am here. Not because we just let people face everything alone, but be together with them along the process.

I am from Rizal, a province from the Pearl of the Orient, Philippines. I know a bit about life, psychology, mental health, and cooking. A dad of white furbabies that bark in the middle of the night. I always wanted to travel to different places to know about the people's culture, their food, and the beauties of nature that they have. Here's me trying to enjoy the scenery at Burias Island, where I joined a tour without knowing anyone from the group:
As of writing, I am a field researcher hired to gather information about people's food skills and consumption.
Look! It is here that I came to taste food that I never knew was possible.
Before that, I was a dedicated therapist of children with special needs for 3 years until I got tired of the work routine. Here, I learned how to be patient, and to be more understanding on everyone's needs. Trust me, they're the best!
During the pandemic, I started a baking business through the help of my girlfriend's family, and now I stopped because of my current work arrangement. On my free time, I also engage in talks regarding social justice, and even go to communities trying to provide assistance to people (and kids) in need.
You want sweets? Let's bake some cake! Love savory treats? We can try making some Sweet and spicy chicken feet!
Regarding content, I look forward to sharing random things, from recipes to stuff in the metaverse that we shall explore together. Bear with me though, as we've only just begun!
