New plant in the lab. Sinister Strike + Goda might be the secret sauce // Axie Infinity Arena

in Axie Buzz3 years ago

Developing my first great 2x Plant + Bird team is a struggle. It's been well over a week since I started trying to use this archetype to climb back up into the top 1% of players.

Early in the offseason I was winning with my old Goda Anemone team from season 19, but what's the fun in that? Rather than try to re-establish the same old ranks with the same old strategy, I thought it'd be good to challenge myself. I gave the winning teams to my scholars and starting learning the new style.

This Might Be the Build

After a lot of false starts, I think i may have finally found the build that can take me to top 1% MMR again and beyond.

Behold!

Unicorns

I love building unicorn teams, which means running a team that nobody else in the entire game is playing. This team fits the bill, since there are olnly two of the front axie in the entire game... and I highly doubt they're running it in the same team as me.

This plant is awesome. So much beast damage, energy control, and still a ton of shields. Hot Butt is great even after a 10 damage nerf.

This might be the one, the FLUX PLANT to take me to the highest ranks. I feel optimistic with this guy by my side.

Breeding Potential

I ran some breeding simulations with this FLUX PLANT and one of my other plants, the midliner from this team. Very good results are possible!

I've never bred Axies before but this might have to be the first time... Great new plants could be possible! Maybe I will breed the third Flux plant to ever exist.

Today's Session

After a tough start with a few Ls, it finally clicked. We had a strong showing today and I think I am back on the climb.

See you in the arena😍

Trying stuff is always a ton of fun right?

Good luck with the new team mate!

Sometimes fun sometimes just frustrating :-p
