It's completely okay to struggle in understanding the gameplay of axie infinity but It's not okay to not bother on looking around to solve your problem.

It's always interesting to watch the gameplay of player playing with somewhat similar axie cards so here is mine and enjoy-
Takeaways of the day
Understanding the fact that skipping a turn or two isn't bad, It could save you energies and you can launch a good combo of 4 or more in a single turn and defeat the enemy axie.
Killing the tank in couple of initial rounds is really important for your win rate. This shall definitely increase your wining chances and you can put more damage to rest of the axies.
Going through the cards of enemy is a major plus point and will help increase your knowledge of game. and will help you think better at what cards should be thrown in upcoming rounds.
Talking about the bird op
Those are my cards on bird and they perform best on playing in combos.
Understand the fact that if you got soothing song which is sleep card then you got a major op over the enemy as soothing song will make the axie sleep and forget it's shield as it doesn't matter how huge the shield it puts up but you'll for sure get a chance for your another card to provide direct damage surpassing the shield + it also provides a good damage. It's a true op of bird.
I found Ill omened and risky feather comb to be killer as well. As through the video one can see how powerful the combo is and how it bought a sure shot win.
5.Always use snake jar as as a defensive move and never for offense. Use it wisely. If enemy seems to fall under really low hp and you got nothing to throw in there except snake jar then it might be truly wise choice and you can put a good damage in that case.

You played quite a tight game overall in the video you posted. Loved that you played the trispikes combo in round 5, that was a good move leaving the beast with a chomp, bought you time and leeway to win the game easily. If I were to nitpick, the one thing that you could have done differently was to play carrot in round 3.
Doubletalk (soothing song) is really OP. The only counter plays I can think of are to backdoor, have a faster backliner or kill your midliner before you kill mine. Otherwise, you will easily waltz to the win if you saved the right cards and have enough energy. All the best as you continue to rise in your MMR =)
