I'm sorry that your days were marked by such events.
The last farewell to a friend, acquaintance, schoolmate or old friend doesn't hurt like the departure of someone from the family circle, but it always brings us closer to that act...
Many people fell into depression like that, after saying goodbye to someone from their generation.
I guess the realization that someone who is as old as us has passed away brings restlessness and fear, which overcomes sadness?
And that restlessness calmed down just like you did.
Isolated and alone in nature. Even if you had a hard hike and got so tired that you slept like a baby afterwards, fear and restlessness are certainly much reduced.
