It's the same for me. The worst is when it's not very cold, when it's a bit breezy, and when leaves are flying on all sides at dusk. This feeling of melancholy is almost like pain.

It's not a good time for those of us who tend to melancholy. Before I thought winters were worse and it's like you say, worse when the cold is still not so present. If I could I would hibernate like bears do, hidden until spring. 😂
