Switching Things Up at Loud & Proud

Hey Bonehead, What are you doing now?

Well to be honest I really don't know but I hope this works out good. Because it involves you. My audience, our audience, THE audience, THE BEST AUDIENCE EVER! I mean that from the very bottom of my heart. You people are some of the greatest people I've had the honor to get to interact with.

Over the last 1 1/2 yrs of Loud & Proud on @mspwaves we've seen an exponential growth in audience size in both, the live show and the podcast.
And I chalk that up to you for spreading the word about the show and it's purpose.

John and I started it with the full intent on being the most freedom loving show on the internet. And we have remained true to that goal. We also had the goal of being the biggest show on MSPWaves. While I don't think we could ever top the giants of @crimsonclad @lpfaust and @r0nd0n. We are, however, able to say that we are the biggest by weight on MSPWaves. I mean have you seen how fat John & I are? We do get a lot of help from the beautiful and sultry voices of @thisnewgirl and now @nineclaws. So I think the beauty balances out the nicely with John and I.

On Halloween 2019 we held an online party during the show and it was absolutely amazing. That episode became the birth of the Off the Rails episodes. And it seems to have taken off like a rocket. You, the regularly attending audience, has more than doubled. The show length has doubled to 4 hrs and it seems like the fastest 4 hours of the week every week.

Since you. the audience has become the biggest part of the show. We want to make it more fun for you and to last longer than just one 4 hour show each month. So here's what I am looking at.

Something new

During the current months Off the Rails episode I will create a document with my own self hosted HedgeDoc. It will be open to the public for any of you to come along and throw in some links that you would like for us to discuss LIVE on air. Please throw in a quick headline then the link to the article without the hyperlink. This is so anybody can see the full url and decide for themsleves if they want to click it.
Then put your Hive or discord username so that we can give you proper credit. If you do not wish to give a user name just simply put "anonymous".

There is no account required to do this. When you open the link it will automatically sign you in with a random account name. Instructions on how to edit the document will be on the document itself. It's very easy. If you can post to Hive you can figure this out easy. Even @hiveqa could do it with one eye closed!

I know its pretty short notice but here is the one for January 2022. You have about a week and a half to start throwing in links.

The Rules

The same rules apply to this document as during the show. No topic is taboo and absolutely no sex trafficking or child porn links of any kind!

A bonus for the live audience on every show (not just Off the Rails)

During the last hour us 4 hosts will discuss who in the chat room that night has been the most engaged with us in the show. We will decide within the last 15 minutes of the show who that person was and they will be the 80% beneficiary of that episode. We can only do 80% because @3speak gets 10 & I give 10% to bambukah for his hard work on HiveLive and his SuperHive that is coming soon. I have promised him 10% of all of my podcast's posts.

Another thing you may have noticed.

There is a Loud &Proud community on Hive. It's been there a year or so and I never really did anything with it. But I am going to start posting more and more there. You are free to post there too if you like. It doesnt have it's own token or anything. But I will curate everybody who uses it. But I would like to see people posting to it.

So that about sums it up for me for now. I will be posting part 2 of last weeks episode to 3Speak & Aureal on Friday.
