Communities on Steem - Good or Bad? Tribes Dead?
Let us be honest - the Steem blockchain is as active as never before since ages, which is a good thing. Not focusing on the Tron deal / cooperation here, I am still concerned a bit on the new community feature.
I have been testing it since the beta start - I was waiting for the communities in general since I started on Steem(it) back in 2016 - but do we have now the paradise of social (media) interactions on a blockchain? I would love to get some views by experts, major investors and Steem dinosaurs on some of the points below - especially related to the "Tribes" mainly created by @aggroed - are Tribes dead!?
- Will communities kill all created Tribes and their tokens?
- What is the purpose of the Tribes when we have communities?
- If Tribes are here to stay, why do most Tribes have their own "steem hivemind community"?
- What is the different between a Tribe and a community driven by the Tribe
- Tell me the reason why these tribe tokens will have a future?
- Are Steem-Engine based tokens still relevant for this community as alternative for the promised SMTs?
