A school is a place we learn. Learning not only the book or the course we went in to offer. But a place we have to learn life most. Life comes in many forms in school; we meet different people and we have to put up with them. we learn on and off the field of the classroom.
I learn so much after school. The things you should have done and I didn’t do most of it. I had a bit of time to do some but in all the regrets hits differently. Life is just something we can’t blame for our inactions. We have to take them in our regard. I wish to share this today and we will learn when we still have time to make amendments.
In level 400, I realized attending a program is part of learning. Confidence as a university student comes from form these programs, programs you will meet prominent people, and interact with them to learn how they get there and this is the start of exposure. You might never know how they got there. But through these programs, you will see how well you can also position yourself in the best way to attain your success in your way. Sometimes the degree we aged doesn’t get the job. But the networks we build in these programs do.
Another other important thing is making friends and being there when they need you. Life is not about only you. There is this ladder you have to climb and in climbing, you need people to hold unto it to climb easily. Your friends do this for you. They should always be there for you. For me, I made a lot of friends. Not just me making them I choose them myself. Make sure when they see your friend, they know the kind of ambitious man you are. choose the best and you all will be great at building each other to the top. Don’t be that reserved type. Open up. Because you will surely regret it when you one day see the boss of a company you applying to, you know him but he doesn’t know you because you didn’t open up when you had the chance. Learn from this.
Lastly, I will say is, it’s not only about the GPA or the class. Make sure that when you are getting the best class you have the best people in your life. That wouldn’t only guarantee you a job but also happiness. On graduation day, some people had the lower classes but have many people around them. they sit and have memories about the university. They don’t only talk about the classes they attended, they talk about the class they missed to attend other events. The hangouts they had after semesters. This is what makes me feel that we attended the university. Don’t be buried in the books. Find an activity within the camos that will add something to you aside from class.
These are the three things I have to share with those yet to get to the university, those in the middle levels, and those in their final years. Do something to make your stay on campus a great one. More will come. Thanks for passing by.
Advisor still doing his job🤩.
Thanks for these 3 wise words. Friends are really important and in as much as we try to achieve our goals for the school, we should find the time to make good friends.
Always a responsible. Thanks for passing by
Totally agree with you. Attending these seminars opens so many doors for you. You just can’t imagine who you will meet there and the connections you will make
Say again ooo. On one of these programs I met the Second Lady of Ghana and even had an award form her.
Oh wow. Lemme get serious errh😂
Be there 🤣🤣🤣
Attending seminars at school is a great way to learn new things.
Some people come to school with the mindset of studying. The literally just want to study and they forget the part that they have to socialize and make useful friends. A school is an ecosystem and we need each other to soar higher.
This was a nice post✨.
Thanks for passing through. I got to know this when I graduated. I hope they realize it soon enough
I like that you're sharing what to learnt to help guide the paths of others.
