Hive has always proven to be a space that empowers in all aspects, from social amenities to boreholes and the various sectors that help a community trove. Hive made a mark on students' lives at the Tatale EP Agric Senior High School, and I'm here to report that.

@depressedfuckup, a vibrant member of the hive ecosystem, has been preaching the gospel at the senior high school. Having told teachers and heads of education there about hive, they wanted us to visit for them to see what Hive is all about, aside from what @depressedfuckup has been communicating.

In December 2024, we visited the Senior High School to talk to them. topics were chosen per what they need to know about school and the life out there. aside from this, we had donations that were to be given to these students.

@sixthson opened the program by speaking about hive. What hive made of, why we do the things, and why we support not only schools but communities. It was a great conversation and it opened the program well.

The First Speaker was Dr. Ragadawu Alhaasan, speaking 0on the topic Building a strong Foundation- highlighting the role of discipline in academic success. She communicated well. She made them understand what school was and how they could be built and empowered to be great after senior high school.

Next was some questions and answers. These students looked timid and confidence in everything is what makes us great. Gits and provisions were given to those who asked questions and that was the sign we use to motivate them to come forward. This exercise helped us to change the mindset that they couldn't speak in public. It was fun doing this.

Ing. Shaibu Suleman was our next speaker. he engaged the students in an intellectual exercise to let them know their worth. They should know and believe it when they are right or wrong. They should know how to change the world when it's moving in the opposite direction. Most of the students failed and only a student was bold enough to change it. How can you use three lines to divide a circle into 11 parts? Is this possible? If no, can you challenge the authority if they first impose that on you? That was a great deal of an exercise.

At the end of the day, each student had an item that could help their stay in the school. Boarding schools comes with its own challenges and this was why we didn't only go to talk to them but to donate to them items that could help their stay in the boarding school.

Thanks for passing through We thank everyone who made this a success. Thanks go to @guiltyparties, @valueplan, @theycallmedan, and everyone in the @valueplan team. This was a success and it's from your hard work. To the @hivestudentshub team, thank you for making this happen.
