Hello everyone! It's me, Lils. I hope you are all doing well. It's been a while since I posted here in the HIVE community. As I mentioned in my introduction, I was from Pangasinan. So I just want to share with you my most visited church in Pangasinan, which is the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Manaoag, commonly known as The Church of Manaoag. There’s just something about being there that calms me down, makes me feel connected and whole, and simply allows me to breathe again. The church connects us with God. There is something reverent about simply being inside a church. It gives us a physical space to connect and draw closer to God and to realize that there is something out there bigger than ourselves. You can visit there too. 🙂

Do you know that this place is an important part of my life? Because when I started working way back in 2015, it became my habit to visit here every Sunday with my friends, and most of the time I visited here alone. Especially the time that I was struggling with my health condition way back in 2018. The doctor said that I have a panic attack, which causes shortness of breath, numbness, chest pain, nausea, and sweating. And in the same year, when I went to another doctor for a second opinion, the doctor said that I also have GERD, which stands for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, which occurs when stomach acid repeatedly flows back into the tube connecting your mouth and stomach (the esophagus). This backwash (acid reflux) can irritate the lining of your esophagus.😔

Imagine experiencing this kind of health condition in the same year. It is really difficult. But through prayers and medications, I was totally healed in 2019. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for experiencing this with me. Because of this, I've learned to be dependent on you and stay faithful to you. Indeed, you are an amazing God. So for those who are experiencing or struggling right now, just pray! Because God heard you and will heal you.🙏

This is my check-up day with my friend. I don't want my parents to know about my health condition because I don't want them to worry about me, so I decided to ask her to accompany me. And guess what? She said yes. That's why I'm so thankful to her. A real friend, indeed! After all the tests and results of that checkup, we decided to eat because, why not? We deserved it. Hahaha. Food is life.😆

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog. See you again at my next blog. Thank you, everyone!😊
