Hello everybody,
Last Saturday before lunch time, I went to our neighbors store, bought sardines for our dogs. The store was 300 meters ayaw from our house, at least I walked for a while. When I went home I passed by our two neighbors fence with different variety of Gumamela. I was attracted by it's color red. I already passed by but then I told myself what if the next Colors of Life will be red? I walked back by the fence and snapped the Red Gumamela.
After I snapped the flower, just ahead is another neighbor where I always asked their Red Gumamela as one of my ingredients when I make ice cream. Timing there were flowers so I snapped it also.
After we took our lunch, I let the dogs ate, too. After that chores, I relaxed and crocheted a doily of my red yarn. I will submit this in Manila. The Crochet Lovers In The Philippines will have a Meet and Greet 2024, then the 5" doilies will be the backdrop of the said meeting. I plan to submit 3 sets even though I am here in Cebu, just want to share some.
Then, I just read about the theme of the Colors of Life Contest is Red! I smiled and said,"hmm, I was not wrong in snapping the Red Gumamela."
Addition to my entry is my great granddaughter's red dress she wore when we have our family day at Seargao Seaview Cafe, last week.
Last Monday we went to the Crafter's Nook and Gift Shop, a yarn shop in Mandaue City. When I was inside I felt I was in Heaven. Looking at the yarns display what attracted me most was the Red yarn.
Lastly, our food for breakfast, hotdogs! Yeah,it's processed food but I eat those together with Gynura Procumbens fresh leaves.
Just until here guys, hoped you like the Reds I shared.
I am inviting @sarimanok to join the contest.
Thanks for dropping by...
